This year the English Department began its board design by displaying simple positive words in English to encourage and to motivate students. In addition, the lyrics of English songs that the students had learned were displayed. Throughout the year the decoration on the board was changed. For Christmas the board was decorated and Christmas themed vocabulary was displayed.
Chinese New Year was celebrated in equal measure and the board was suitably decorated with simple and colourful vocabulary to enhance the English language learning environment. Bright Easter themed vocabulary was displayed in the week before Easter to introduce the words to the students.
