This year due to a packed schedule and time constraints fewer students presented than in the previous year. However, there was still great enthusiasm amongst students. S3A Tang Ka Yan started the year off by reading a poem aptly entitled ‘September’. Her fellow classmate S3A Chan Tsz Kwan recited a poem called ‘Autumn’. For Christmas the Form 4 student Yam Wing In introduced the famous novel ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Charles Dickens to the student body.
Ms. Tang shared the well-known musical ‘Mamma Mia’ for everyone to become acquainted with. In addition, to encourage students to read more, there were a number of book presentations by S1A Tsoi Mei Yee and Ye Qingwen. They introduced ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, also the book about a young girl called ‘Matilda’ both books are considered as Roald Dahl’s classic stories. Which have been made into movies too!
