The format for the English Speech Festival reverted back to an in-person format rather than an online video submission. S3A Tang Ka Yan prepared very diligently for the event and was trained extensively by Ms. Tam who accompanied her to the event. Ka Yan competed in the U41 Solo Verse Speaking category and recited a poem called ‘Tabby’. The poem was composed by the British based poet Grace Nichols. The event took place on December 20th in Chai Wan and Ka Yan achieved a Certificate of Merit. Congratulations to Ka Yan and Ms. Tam!
